The Ear Care Programme at the Langley Audiology Centre is enhanced by visiting Consultant Audiovestibular Physician. Clinical audiological services, ranging from audiological consultation to ear wax removal, is offered on the premises.

The Langley Audiology Centre (LAC) in Beckenham, Kent offers both audiological and clinical expertise.

 

Resident independent hearing aid audiologist, Mr Bevan Allen RHAD, FSHAA, has over 50 years experience in the hearing aid industry. He is available to offer a FREE HEARING TEST and comprehensive consultation, impartial advice and the latest digital technology available from leading hearing aid manufacturers.

We aim to provide the highest standard of care to comply with Code of Practice as laid down by BSHAA and under the regulation of the Health Professions Council (HPC).

Welcome

- Complete paediatric and adult hearing assessment and management.

- Medical management of otitis media with effusion (glue ear).

- Neuro-vestibular assessment and management of balance disorders in adults including instructions on vestibular rehabilitation.

For people who suspect they may be experiencing hearing loss, we offer comprehensive evaluation services to determine the extent of the loss. We also provide a variety of treatment and management options which include hearing aids and management advice.

 

 

Latest digital tinnitus technology available; in the ear (ITE) and behind the ear (BTE) tinnitus maskers, or combined hearing aid with tinnitus masker.

Tinnitus Management

Audiological examination includes:

- Complete case history including tinnitus, hyperacusis and overall health.

- Investigation into whether vertigo or imbalance is present.

- History of head trauma and any other illnesses or conditions.

- History of medication use, past and present.

- Any referable medical condition(s) will be noted and the appropriate advice given.
